The binding is tight and straight. Illustrated endpapers front and back. Gold hardcover boards w James Beard illustration on front are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The dust jacket is very good, very clean and still mostly shine with only light shelf wear. Royal octavo book size or 6.5" x 10" with 625 pages including index.
