This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. First Edition 1996 St Martins Press. This copy is clean inside and out. NOTE: there is light dust spotting to outside edges of book pages (see photo) but does not carry over to inside pages. The inside pages are clean. There are Black hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with barely a hint of shelf wear. The dust jacket is clean and still shiny with only very light shelf wear. Royal octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 575 pages including index.
