This is a good hardcover w good jacket. First Edition 1987 Viking Publishing. Dust jacket has original price of 18.95 and CP page states "First Published in 1987 by Viking Penguin Inc". Dust jacket has the subtle texture similar to dragon scales as issued on First Editions. Illustrations by David Palladini. This copy is crisp and clean inside. The pages are crisp and clean and only marking seen is previous owners name neatly written inside front cover, see photo. Green hardcover boards with tan quArter trim under jacket are very good, only light shelf wear. The dust jacket is good, there is wear along edges/corners but it is very clean and still holding most of its shine. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 326 pages.
The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King is a slight deviation by King from horror novels to fantasy fiction. Originally published in 1984 in a slipcased limited edition, it was later published in mass in 1987. Nice collectible for any Stephen King fan.
