This is a set of 12 vintage and rare horror magazines from Acme. This is SET #1 and they are all from Acme magazines circa 1960's-70's. They are in good condition. One (Sept. No 29 1969) has a loose front cover but good inside and out. All of the magazines are good inside and out given age. There is light natural tanning to pages from age but overall they are clean. Stapled bindings are good aside from the one loose front cover. The covers are clean, light shelf wear mostly at corners, edges. The inside page text is is all very good given age and no markings seen. Some are in better overall condition than others but they are all considered good and good ++ as a vintage and rare set.
Magazine of Horror was published by Acme from 1963-1971. Original price of 50 cents appears on front covers. It was a bimonthly publication. Some of there greatest horror authors were featured. Authors include Ambrose Bierce, H.G. Wells, Hugh B. Cave, David H. Keller, Frank Belknap Long, Robert E. Howard and more.
