This is a very good spiral-bound with durable vinyl cover. 1942 The Congregational Church. This copy is very good inside and out. Previous owners name neatly written inside front cover but rest of pages clean with no markings seen. There is only a hint of light natural tanning from age to pages. Bound in durable vinyl cover, the front and back cover are also very good with only light wear. Spiral-binding very good, pages tight and straight. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 296 pages.
The Chappaqua Cook Book is a charming collection of recipes form the kitchens of an Old Quaker village. Making it even more charming is that many recipes have been reprinted in the cookbook in the original handwritten recipes from the contributors.
