As railroads and airplanes entered the Old West, the cowboys came down from the ranges. Wild West shows emerged featuring the fabled legends such as Buffalo Bill, W.F. Cody and others who became traveling stars. Soon, Teddy Roosevelt emerged as the "Cowboy President" and the myths and legends grew ever taller.
