This is a good small hardcover. 1901 MacMillan Publishing. This edition is designed for students. The text is that of the Temple Edition. This copy is good condition given age. The pages have just very light natural tanning from age. The pages are clean, light tanning but no foxing seen. The binding is tight, all pages tight to binding but one spot in intro and between pages 136-137 there is a hint of separation but pages still tight to binding. The hardcover boards are done in a flexible red leatherette binding with title lettering on front cover and spine BUT PLEASE NOTE that title and author lettering along spine is worn and not legible. This edition, given it was designed with students in mind, is small, "pocket size" for ease of carrying around and referencing anywhere. 18mo or 4" x 6" with 205 pages including index.
Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare was a play first performed in 1599. the well known characters of Brutus and Cassius conspire to assassinate Caesar and prevent him from becoming a tyrant.
