This is a very good paperback. 1996 Anchor Books. This copy is clean inside and out. There is light natural tanning to pages from age but they are clean and free of markings. The binding is tight and straight, NO creasing along spine. The cover front and back is very good with only a hint of shelf wear from display.
On the morning of June 25th 1876, 611 U.S. Army soldiers rode toward the banks of the Little Bighorn where 3,000 Indians stood waiting to battle. The lives of two great warriors would forever be linked throughout history: Crazy Horse, leaders of the OglalaSioux, and General George Armstrong Custer of the Seventh Cavalry. Both had become leaders at very early ages, both had been stripped of power, and both worked to earn back the respect of their people.
This account of their lives and encounter at Little Bighorn is meticulously researched and presented by eminent historian Stephen E. Ambrose.
