This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. Illustrated Jr. Library from Grosset & Dunlap 1950. This copy is very good inside and out. PLEASE NOTE CONDITION POINTS: Pages inside are clean and appear free of markings BUT title page of First Chapter " Mowgli's Brothers" is torn at bottom right corner edge and left corner. Left as such with no attempted taping or repair to leave intact the original condition. Rest of pages are very good, only light natural tanning from age and only a couple of very small smudges on only a few pages. the binding is tight and straight. The hardcover boards are bound in tan cloth with green/blue leaf design and title/author/publisher lettering on spine. The hardcover boards are very good with only light wearing, rubbing or fading. Crown octavo size or 5" x 8" with 244 pages. Illustrated endpapers front and back in full color are very clean, still bright and unmarked.
