This is a good hardcover with dust jacket. Book Club Edition from DoubleDay Publishing, 1947. This copy is good inside and out. The pages have light natural tanning from age but appear clean and free of markings or foxing. The binding is tight and straight. Green cloth hardcover boards under jacket are good, clean with light shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is good, showing wear including small tear top front right corner but overall good. Standard octavo size or 6" x 9" with 622 pages. Illustrated maps inside front and back endpapers.
