This is a very good hardcover. Circa 1960's Illustrated Junior Library Edition. This copy is very clean inside and out. The pages are clean and free of markings. The binding is tight and straight. The cover is clean with only very light shelf wear, mostly at corners/edges. Full color illustrated hardcover boards front and back are still colorful with only a hint of rubbing or wear. Gold title/author/illustrator/publishers lettering along spine still clean and clear with no rubbing off to lettering. Medium octavo size or 7" x 9" with 220 pages. Inside front cover, olive green endpapers front and back match page edge tint finishing off the nice illustrated binding from Jr. Library Editions. These edition were originally published in a clear glassine jacket but please note; this copy is MISSING the glassine jacket.
