This is a near fine (almost like new) set of two hardcovers in slipcase. Grossett & Dunlap Publishers 1970. NOTE: inside front cover both volumes is previous owners name neatly written top right corner. No other marks etc seen inside, no foxing or tanning to pages. Both hardcovers are near fine inside with crisp clean pages. The bindings on both are tight and straight with durable fine sewn bindings as found on fine binding editions. Red hardcover boards are very good to near fine w gold title lettering on spine. The accompanying red slipcase is very good with only very light shelf wear. Full color illustrated endpapers on both. Both hardcovers are super octavo size or 7.5" x 10.25" with 512 and 338 pages respectively.
