This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. 1988 First Edition Putnam Publishing with accompanying author signed illustrated Lightning promo stationary. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp, clean and free of markings with only very light natural tanning from age. The binding is tight and straight. The hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine. The dust jacket is clean and shiny with only a hint of shelf wear. Medium octavo size of 6.5" x 9. " with 351 pages.
