This is a very good hardcover, no dust jacket, JACKET MISSING. 1966 Harper & Row Publishing. this copy is very clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp, clean and free of markings or foxing. The binding is tight and straight. Gold cloth hardcover boards are also very good with only light shelf wear. Super octavo size or 7" x 11: with 208 pages including index. Clean decorated endpapers front and back.
This is a wonderful collection of Thurber drawings and cartoons and is the first published collection of its kind from Thurber which was published posthumously by his wife, Helen. Humorous drawings, some appearing for the first time, include self-portraits, Shakespeare characters, sports cartoons and more. This vintage collection is sure to please readers and provide entertainment over and over.
