This is a good and solid hardcover, NO dust jacket. Dust jacket MISSING. First Edition, Ninth Printing Oxford University Press 1951. This copy is in good condition. The inside pages are very good and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Olive green hardcover boards are good, BUT NOTE there is shelf wear at corners and top edges, see photo, but overall good. Crown octavo size or 5.25" x 8.5" with 230 pages. Illustrated front endpapers and illustrated map inside back endpapers.
