This is a very good hardcover. 1954 Theo Audel and Co. New York. This copy is very good inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean. Only marks seen is previous owners note "Xmas 1956 from mom & dad" neatly written inside front cover. Rest of pages clean and free of markings. The binding is tight and straight. The textured black hardcover boards are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The embossed front is exceptionally clean. 1664 pages.
This vintage handbook and reference for automobile repair is a classic printed by Audel's who manufactured manuals for cars, hydraulics, steam engines and more. Highly sought after at the time, this was a welcome reference and indispensable guide, most are collector items today.
