This is a very good paperback. 1967 Tenth Printing Viking Press. This copy is very good inside and out. The pages have light natural tanning from age but are clean with no foxing etc. Previous owners name neatly written inside front cover (see photos). Otherwise no markings seen. The binding is tight and square. NO creasing along spine. 792 pages.

This vintage paperback includes includes Hamlet, MacBeth, Julius Caesar, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like it and Romeo and Juliet. Also included are memorable passages from other plays not included in this issue, all the sonnets, and key work index to 1000 Shakespeare quotations. The plays and sonnets are complete and that of the authoritative George Lyman Kittredge edition. Take Shakespeare everywhere with this vintage and somewhat rare portable edition.
