This is a near fine, like new hardcover with dust jacket. 1980 Putnam Publishing Book Club Edition, NOT a First Edition book. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp, clean and free of markings. The binding tight and straight. Hardcover boards under jacket are like new, leatherette spine with gold lettering. The dust jacket has light shelf wear including light stain on the inside back of jacket, does not carry over to pages.
From the best selling author, Dean Koontz, comes this early horror novel about a man and woman in love. But, it is also the story of a killer, one who first brings the lovers together, then later attempts to separate them with an unspeakable act of violence. The novel moves from Hollywood to Napa Valley, from a Beverly Hills mansion to the morgue. Whispers both touch and terrify the heart.
