This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1980 Castle Books. Crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp, clean and free of markings. The binding is tight and straight. Red hardcover boards under jacket are like new. The dust jacket is clean and shiny with only light shelf wear from display.
This vintage book presets the Sherlock Holmes series as they originally appeared in the Strand Magazine at the turn of the 19th century. 18 tales of mystery, suspense and adventure along with the complete novel, Rodney Stone". The book contains all 236 original illustrations by Sidney Paget and other top artists of the day. These are harder to find stories and include and intro and 8 page section " A Day With Dr. Conan Doyle" complete with original photos of Doyle's everyday life.
