This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover. 2004 History Channel Club. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Brown hardcover boards have Robert E. Lee photo front with gold title/publisher lettering and they are also near fine and bound in designed faux-leather simulation. Super octavo book size or 7.5" x 10.5" with 128 pages including index.
Pride of the South, Confederate Leaders of the Civil War is from the American History Archives by The History Channel Club. Extensively illustrated with vintage photos and several color illustrations, the text is a guide to the Southern leaders of the Civil War. It is divided into two parts; Confederate Leaders in the East and Confederate Leaders in the West. Short biographies of each leader accompanies the vintage photos to detail battles engaged in, companies commanded and more.
